One of P.E.I.'s liveliest dance bands returns to the Kaylee Hall for a pig n' whistle on Saturday, March 16, beginning at 8 p.m.
The band looks forward to returning to one of its favourite venues, after a two-month break due to conflicting schedules.
"The Kaylee Hall has become like a second home to Phase II in recent years," says front man Gerry Hickey.
"It's a local, family-run dance hall in the old tradition; family members greet you at the door and make everyone feel welcome."
Phase II is a long-running musical group which formed in 1990, one day after the Blue Crystals played their last official dance at the Rodd Royalty New Year celebration.
Best known for its high-energy dance music, the band is versatile, performing everything from rock ’n' roll to country to East Coast Maritime music.
Band members include Blaine Murphy, lead guitar, John McGarry, bass guitar, Pat King, keys and saxophone, Ed Young, drums, and Gerry Hickey, lead vocals.
Doors open at 7 p.m.
