Moth Lane Brewery hosts another evening of music on Friday, March 29, with a twist.
Along with a bevy of pub-style songs with Island entertainer Michael Pendergast, Fiddle Friday will feature Acadian- and Irish-style fiddle by Andy Doucette from Deblois.
Doucette will also supply guitar and vocals for accompaniment for Pendergast, who will be trying some new songs ahead of the summer season.
Moth Lane is widely thought of as a top craft beer brewery on the Island, and its performance space has been host to several Festival of Small Halls late-night events and various local and national performers, including Mathew Byrne from Newfoundland, the 2018 winner of the top Canadian traditional folk album.
This warm, intimate venue is perfect for an evening of down-home fun.
Moth Lane Brewery is located at 101 Mickie Allan Shore Rd., Ellerslie. Previous events have seen attendees from as far away as Charlottetown and St. Peters.
Show time is 8 p.m. Seating is limited. Contact 902-831-2160 to reserve seats.
