Students in Holland College’s School of Performing Arts will hold their annual spring showcases Thursday, April 25, and Friday, April 26, in the Florence Simmons Performance Hall.

The music performance students take to the stage on Thursday night to share their favourite ensemble pieces with the audience in a wide range of genres including R&B, pop, jazz, Latin and improv.

The dance performance, theatre performance and performing arts foundation students are looking forward to presenting their spring showcase of dance, songs and stories on Friday evening.

The School of Performing Arts attracts students from all over the world, including South America, Great Britain, Mexico and the United States, as well as Canadian students, to create a learning environment that is culturally diverse and enriching.

Program manager Liam Corcoran said the students always look forward to the showcase.

“Our students perform at events throughout the year, but the spring showcases are always a highlight, as these talented young people are eager to show all that they have learned over the last year,” he said.

The showcases start at 7 p.m. Tickets for both events are available at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall box office or online at Ticketpro.ca.
