Popular Island group Fiddlers’ Sons and Keelin Wedge are set to play the Cymbria Lions Club in Rustico on Sunday.
The band will be performing music from their recently released album “Fiddlers’ Sons the Best of Twenty Years.”
The band features singer-songwriter and local author Eddy Quinn on vocals and guitar, multi-instrumentalist Keeling Wedge on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and vocals, John B. Webster on guitar and vocals, while fiddling veterinarian Courtney Hogan-Chandler takes the fiddle.
Together, they play a mix of original and traditional favourites that celebrate Island life, with their signature Maritime sound.
The Cymbria Lions Club is located at 2184 Church Road in Rustico. There will be a 50/50 draw and ice cream sundaes for sale. Copies of the band’s new CD and Eddy Quinn’s book of short stories will also be available for purchase.
Admission is at the door. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
