“I was born in the greatest country in the world, Canada. I met my wife in the greatest country in the world, Canada. We raised our kids in the greatest country in the world, Canada. And when I die they will bury me in the greatest country in the world, Canada,” said Canyon in a press statement.
The musical event is part of Canyon’s ‘Made in Canada Tour’ and will feature a full band, as well as renditions of Stompin’ Tom Connors’ “The Hockey Song” and Canadian singer-songwriter Bruce Guthro’s masterpiece “Falling,” where the original artist will provide special guest vocals.
