When punk rock and philanthropy meet
The North Shore Community Centre is attempting to raise funds for a number of youth programs at the centre.
And Phase II and Friends have volunteered to help.
The band will perform a dance on Saturday, Feb. 9, featuring some of their best tunes. Along with singers Keila Glydon, Jeanie Campbell and Gerry Hickey, the audience will also hear songs by Nicole Cannell, event organizer, as well as her mother, Heather MacAulay.
This will be a night which focuses on fun and community involvement. The band looks forward to trying out some recently learned songs.
There will be a licensed bar and room for dancing in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The North Shore Community Centre is located on the Covehead Road on the way to Stanhope. Tickets are available at the centre or by contacting Cannell or Gerry Hickey through Facebook.
