GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. — Instead of performing Charles Dicken’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, a small but mighty group of community actors have decided to combine them in “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)”.

Combined with Christmas traditions from around the world, seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture and every carol every sung, this performance is certain to be a madcap romp through the holiday season.

“Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)” features local performers Sandra Stevens, Marcus Hebert, Leilah and Abigail Batchilder, Jordyn MacKay, Lena Creed, Deborah Clory and Cinday MacLean. It is directed by Bianca Heuvelmans.

“This time of year it is easy to get caught up in trying to get it all done by year’s end,” says Heuvelmans.

“Amidst the chaos, it has been such a pleasure to work with a talented group in preparing to share some laughs and love.

“Theatre is hard work, and everyone was given a taste of their own wonderful abilities and capacities.  We knew that after all was said and done, our goal with this show was that if we must do anything – it is to produce a little joy for all to share."

The show takes the stage at the Kings Playhouse in Georgetown on Dec. 14 at 6.p.m. Tickets are pay-what-you-wish and can be reserved at kingsplayhouse.com, by calling 1-888-346-5666 or in person at 65 Grafton St., Georgetown.
