The group has 134 members, a number that has continued to grow since its inception, mostly through word of mouth. With COVID protocols in place, the group has switched to hosting virtual meetings in place of regular in-person meetings. At the Jan. 28 meeting, representatives from three charities made presentations and group members voted on a winner to receive donations - the Aidaen Mae Fund, which operates  Aidaen’s Place Youth Wellness Centre.

Reflecting on the past four years, Jeff Little, the groups meeting emcee says, "We’ve done this $100 at a time, one guy at a time, one meeting at a time and one deserving charity at a time.”

The group is headed up by an informal organizing committee consisting of Jeff Little, Andrew Pace, Rick Allwright, Gil Dares, Daniel Muise, Jack Spurr, Matt Trask and David Sollows.

Although COVID stopped the group from having two meetings this past year, the group encouraged their members to donate to groups in need and even through the hiatus, they still gained new members.

“The impact that we create in such a short amount of time is appealing to all of the members,” says Rick Allwright.
“I believe the active work of the organizing guys to keep all of the members engaged has created a robust group and we can see the impact we're having.”

Over the last 17 meetings the group has donated to; Tri-County Pregnancy Care Center, The Salvation Army, J Strong Foundation, Parkinsons Canada – Yarmouth, Yarmouth Food Bank, Yarmouth Life Skills, Yarmouth Area Community Fund, Yarmouth Special Olympics, NSCC Foundation Urgent Aid, Canadian Mental Health Association – Southwest Nova, Yarmouth Rotary Club, Shyft Youth Services, VON Tri-County, 2nd Yarmouth Scouts & Ventures, Yarmouth Schools Plus, Gilles Boudreau & Friends Cancer Help Fund and finally Aidaen Mae Fund.
