Ted Rogers scholarship recipient awarded to Sydney Mines teen

Breagh MacNeil of Sydney Mines was the recipient of this year’s Ted Rogers scholarship through the Toronto Blue Jays Care Foundation. The 18-year-old graduate of Memorial High School will receive $10,000, $2,500 per year for post-secondary schooling. MacNeil will attend St. Francois Xavier University in Antigonish for the bachelor of science program. Since 2017, more than 300 Ted Roger scholarships have been awarded. SYDNEY MINES, N.S. — Breagh MacNeil of Sydney Mines was the recipient of this year’s Ted Rogers scholarship through the Toronto Blue Jays Care Foundation.

The 18-year-old graduate of Memorial High School will receive $10,000, $2,500 per year for post-secondary schooling. MacNeil will attend St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish for the bachelor of science program.

Since 2017, more than 300 Ted Roger scholarships have been awarded.
