CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A special yoga workshop will be held Friday, Jan. 17 at the Health Within Holistic Centre, 99 Pownal St., third floor in Charlottetown.

It’s called How to Get Your Eight Hours in, or at Least Feel Like You Did. The workshop includes strategies to help Islanders get more out of their sleep time.

Many things conspire to keep us awake or interrupt our sleep. Yoga has many strategies to help you get the rest you need.

The relaxing, fun workshop includes a Yin Yoga practice, Kundalini Yoga practice, and a Yoga Nidra relaxation. 

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the two-hour workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. Workshop information packages are created so pre-registration is requested by the organizer. Instructor is Ruth Richman, an Island-based yoga instructor for more than 30 years.
