CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Holland College Welshmen Community Band, under the direction of Christine Blanchard, will present its annual holiday concert today at 7 p.m. in the Florence Simmons Performance Hall in Charlottetown. 

This concert will feature traditional Christmas music, along with popular holiday tunes such as “Baby, Please Come Home”, “Happy Holidays”, “Grown Up Christmas List”, and themes from the movie “Home Alone”. Students from the School of Performing Arts Music Performance program will also perform. 

There is no admission, instead, the Welshmen ask people to bring cash donations to support the band fund, and cash or food donations for the Upper Room Food Bank.

The Holland College Welshmen Community Concert Band is comprised of musicians from university and college, as well as music graduates and community members.
