CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The next wave of up-and-coming singer-songwriters from Prince Edward Island is set to take the stage at the Pourhouse in Charlottetown on Friday, Feb. 21.
The night will feature David Woodside, Brielle Ansems, Scott MacKay, Joce Reyome, Allyson Blush and Cam Menzies.
"I'm really excited about this show." says promoter Pat Deighan.
"We are very lucky on P.E.I. and, for that matter, the East Coast to be surrounded by such a strong and deep music scene. If anything it can be hard for up and coming singer-songwriters to play shows or get on bills when they don't have a lot of experience so this idea was hatched hoping to get some people out to see these new performers. This is a great way to spend a Friday night in February and discover some new music."
Tickets are available at trailside.ca, Back Alley Music or by calling 902-394-3626. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with music starting at 8 p.m. The Pourhouse is located at 189 Great George St.
