Members of the public are invited to participate in upcoming consultations on the draft management plan for Skmaqn-Port-la-Joye-Fort Amherst National Historic Site (NHS).
These virtual consultation sessions are open to anyone to share their views, opinions and ideas on the future of the site.
Once finalized, this management plan will guide Parks Canada’s decisions and actions in protecting, presenting and operating Skmaqn-Port-la-Joye-Fort Amherst NHS over the next 10 years.
Public consultations are being held virtually in order to reflect the advice of public health experts and ensure the health and safety of stakeholders and Parks Canada team members. Sessions will be facilitated using a web-based videoconferencing platform. Participants who prefer to join by telephone are welcome to do so.
