CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The 2020 edition of the Pop-Up Film is set for Wednesday, Feb. 19, 7 p.m., at the Haviland Club in Charlottetown.

The second, bi-annual festival will feature the following short films: Bill’s Bills by director Danilo Baracho.

Sins of the Father by Ryan MacCarville and Spirit of the Open Mic and The City Under the Ground by Joscelynne Bordeaux, who is organizing the event.

“I’m thrilled to be able to encourage Island directors by offering a venue to screen and talk about their short films, shot on P.E.I., using predominantly Island actors,” said Bordeaux, Charlottetown actress.

Bordeaux plays the lead role of Sandra, Bill’s wife in Bill’s Bills, a suspenseful drama about the struggles of P.E.I. oyster fisherman and the dreams he hides from his wife which backfire on him.

Other works by directors David MacKay, Dave Ward and JoDee Samuelson will soon be announced.

Admission is by donations to Lennon House.
