CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Comedy is coming to Cornwall on Saturday, Feb. 22, as part of the 2020 Cornwall Snowfest.
Winter on P.E.I. can get pretty long, and this time of year, Islanders appreciate every opportunity to laugh and lift spirits.
The Snowfest Comedy night will feature P.E.I. favourite and Cornwall area resident Patrick Ledwell, fresh back over the bridge from headlining at the Moncton Hubcap Comedy Festival.
Fellow Island standups Brad Doiron and Sam MacDonald will round out a full evening of laughter.
“Although I live way out on the other side of Warren Grove, Cornwall is my nearest home town,” says Ledwell. “It’s where we head for Pizza Delight, dream parks and my son’s karate class.
I’m looking forward to celebrating Cornwall with some comedy from right here.”
The entertainment gets underway at 7 p.m. at the Cornwall Civic Centre 29 Cornwall Rd. This is a 19-plus event with bar service available.
