The trio of Richard Wood, Brad Fremlin and Gordon Belsher is bringing Christmas cheer to two special “World Class Christmas Kitchen Parties” in December.

The show promises Wood’s usual high-energy foot-stomping fiddle prowess, including pieces from his latest ECMA award-winning CD “Unbroken”. Wood was recently nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for this album in the instrumental solo artist of the year category.

The two shows will also feature a slew of favourite Christmas songs from vocalist, guitarist and mandola player Belsher.

As well, pianist and percussionist Fremlin will provide surprises and treats for the ears, like “Silent Night” performed on the saw.

The performers can’t wait to share some Christmas fun in the cozy atmosphere of the lovely Stanley Bridge Hall on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2:30 p.m.

They will have another party at the Pourhouse above the Old Triangle pub on Sunday, Dec. 15, 5:30 p.m. A dinner reservation can be made for this show by calling 902-892-5200.

Admission is at the door.
