Jeanie & Charles performing Saturday in Charlottetown

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jeanie & Charles return to the cozy confines of The Merchantman Next Door a show on Saturday.

Start time is 7 p.m., and guitarist/singer Charles Reid said he's buckled up for a great night.

"We've revamped the sets, added some new stuff and slid in a couple of originals, so we're pretty excited," Reid said.

The duo includes Jeanie Campbell, who also sings with the popular dance band Phase II and Friends.

"If should be a great night,” said Campbell. “We've drilled these new tunes and are fired up to present them."
