Colonel Gray High School

Lockers were assigned to students last week. Student access is limited to three times per day – before first class in the morning, lunch and the end of the day.

Students took home a number of forms for parents/guardians to sign. It’s important this paperwork be returned to Colonel Gray ASAP with signatures and needed corrections.

Heckbert Studios will be photographing graduates at the school Oct. 22 to Nov. 3. Students can sign up for appointments online at heckbertsstudio.com for a $12 session with multiple poses.

Anyone wanting to be included on the 2021 grad wall composite, preferring not to order through Heckberts, may sign up for a one-shot, no-charge session on the same website. Due to COVID-19, guys need to wear their own white shirt and black neck tie. Girls should wear a V-neck T-shirt to be hidden under the graduation gown, with hair and makeup completed prior to the session. Finished photos can be ready for Christmas, upon request.

The Colonel Gray Christmas Craft Fair is cancelled for 2020. A decision regarding the 2021 fair will be made next May, but no vendors are currently being registered. Enquiries can be sent to [email protected].

Charlottetown Rural High School

It’s that time of year again for grad photos for the class of 2021. Heckbert Studios will be at the school to take grad photos, Oct. 1-14 (in the student council office). Students must be photographed by Heckbert Studios in order to be included in the yearbook and the class of 2021 composite photo.

All potential grads must sign up online at bit.ly/gradphotos2021. There is only one sign-up link this year for both the paid full-sitting and the free yearbook picture options.

Also this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, shirts and ties will not be provided. Guys are asked to wear a white dress shirt and a black tie (either a bow tie or neck tie). Girls should wear a V-neck style shirt that does not show up under the gown. Contact Mr. Hughes for more information.
