Award-winning Island band Fiddlers' Sons will play at the Cymbria Lions Club on Sunday, Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m., as part of the Lions weekly summer ceilidh series.

The group features singer songwriter Eddy Quinn, guitar player and songwriter John B. Webster, fiddler Courtney Hogan-Chandler and multi-instrumentalist and singer Keelin Wedge. They will be playing music from their most recent album called "Fiddlers' Sons The Best Of Twenty Years".

"Of all the places we play, I would have to say that Cymbria has the most beautiful view," says Quinn. "It's worth the drive just to sit out on the deck, have an ice cream and look out over the bay."

The Cymbria Lions Club Community Centre is located in the heart of Rustico on six acres overlooking Rustico Bay. Situated next to the historic St. Augustine’s Church, Farmer’s Bank of Rustico, Doucette House and the Barachois Inn, the centre provides panoramic views in a country setting only 25 minutes from Charlottetown and 45 minutes from Summerside.

There will be a 50/50 draw, canteen service and CDs and books available for sale from the performers. Admission is at the door and all ages are welcome.
