CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A popular winter dining festival in Charlottetown is expanding from three consecutive weekends to four.
DCI announced WinterDine, now in its 15th year, will feature 20 of the most popular restaurants in downtown Charlottetown.
The dining festival runs Thursdays to Sundays from Jan. 16 to Feb. 9.
Participating restaurants will offer a three-course meal, designed specifically for WinterDine by some of Charlottetown’s most talented and creative chefs, at either $30 or $40.
“Whether you’re looking to have a lively dinner out with friends, a romantic meal with that special someone or a family gathering outside of your home, WinterDine makes the perfect night out in Downtown Charlottetown,’’ said Dawn Alan, executive director of DCI.
"With the added weekend this year it gives people even more time to take advantage of a delicious opportunity.’’
Returning for a sixth year is the ‘People’s Choice Menu Award’, an online contest where participants can vote for their favorite WinterDine menu for a chance to win a $75 gift card from one of the WinterDine 2020 restaurants. The restaurant with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Menu Award. Past winners include Claddagh Oyster House, Sim’s Corner Steakhouse and Mavors.
