MONT-CARMEL, P.E.I. — The sixth of nine Facebook Live shows taking place during the Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series, presented by the Coopérative de développement culturel et patrimonial de Mont-Carmel (CDCPMC), is set for Sunday, Aug. 9, 7 p.m., and will feature P.E.I. fiddler Cynthia MacLeod.

MacLeod has been entertaining audiences from near and far for almost two decades. With five albums and numerous Music P.E.I. and ECMA awards and nominations to her credit, she is well known for her engaging, high-energy performances while staying true to her Island roots.

Her performance during the Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series every year is one of her only performances that features her repertoire of P.E.I., Cape Breton, Scottish and Irish tunes.

This free show will be streamed live at Facebook.com/CDCPMC. Each week until Aug. 30, a free live show will take place on Sunday at 7 p.m. The artists being featured during the three final shows of the series are Peggy Clinton and Johnny Ross (Aug. 16), Caroline Bernard and Rémi Arsenault (Aug. 23) and Meaghan Blanchard (Aug. 30).
