The duo of Kim Albert and Mike Arsenault will perform Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Rustico Bay Seniors Ceilidh.
Kim grew up on country music, making her stage debut at the age of five and recording her first album at the age of 12. She has performed in Dubai, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Nashville and across Canada. She has also had several songs released to radio and a video to CMT. The lead vocalist in Faces, she has one of the richest female voices in P.E.I. and will perform many of classic country favourites.
She will be accompanied on stage by Arsenault, who has been playing guitar and singing most of his life. He comes from a musical family and plays all styles. He has played in numerous bands such as 140 Smooth Bore, Red Clay and currently Faces.
The ceilidh will take place at 2104 Church Rd. in Rustico. Public health guidelines will be adhered to and the venue is wheelchair-accessible.
The time for the show is 8 p.m. with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Bar service is available. Admission is $10 at the door.
