NORTH RUSTICO, P.E.I. — Iconic bands from the art-rock era will be remembered in North Rustico this weekend.

“British Art-rock of the 70s” will be onstage at the Watermark theatre on Aug. 4, 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at https://watermarktheatre.com.

The 1970s were a creative and genre-bending time for music. Britain led the way musically with unique bands like Supertramp, The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. Together they created the new “prog-rock”.

From concept albums like Crime of the Century to The Wall and Days of Future Passed, these three bands were at the top of their games.

Interpreting the music of these iconic artists are P.E.I. artists Calm Baretta, Jenni & the Hummingbird and Claire Gallant.
