CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Legal eagles with ideas for education, research or service delivery can now apply for funding.

The Law Foundation of Prince Edward Island is accepting applications until Oct. 7 for 2020 projects.

Projects can access micro grants of $500 or less up to regular grants of $15,000.

The foundation will also consider granting larger amounts for multi-year projects or projects involving multiple funding partners.

Proposals should focus on new ideas related to legal education, research or service delivery that will benefit Islanders. Funding priorities include projects that address the legal needs of seniors, newcomers and low-income families.

Contact the law foundation to discuss ideas or to arrange a free information session for your organization.

For further details visit the foundation’s website at www.lawfoundationpei.ca or contact executive director Sheila Lund MacDonald at [email protected].
