The relationship between Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman and her two oldest children is shattered and she’s blaming the controversial Church of Scientology.

Her ex-husband Tom Cruise is one of Scientology’s leading lights.

When the couple split, Connor, now 24, and his sister Isabella, 26, chose their father — and Scientology.

Former members have claimed that church members are forbidden from having close relationships with outsiders. These people are known as “suppressive persons.”

That meant Kidman, 52, was effectively frozen out of her two adopted children’s lives.

She even missed her daughter’s 2015 London wedding.

“They have made choices to be Scientologists. It’s our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love,” Kidman told Australia’s WHO magazine.

In a previous interview, she said: “Motherhood is about the journey. There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love.

“It’s not about anything else other than, ‘I’m here to love and support you’.”

But there have been years of hurt for the redhead. She was reportedly banned from son Connor’s wedding.

His wife — named Silvia — has been dubbed the “Scientology Princess” and is the leader of the church’s Italian branch.

“Tom is behind this and what he wants is as good as law,” a source told RadarOnline.com in March. “Tom made the call and Connor followed.”

The source added that Connor “worships” his father.

Kidman has two other daughters, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8, with husband Keith Urban.
