CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A popular concert series, The Ceilidh In the City, is set to return for the 2019 season on Wednesday, June 26.

This year marks the ninth season for this City Ceilidh which has been showcasing the wide musical styles and talent found on Prince Edward Island. This season promises to be filled with toe tapping traditional music, sing along songs and more. The first show of the year will kick off with two musical guests which, notably have been fan favorites returning each year to perform for eight previous seasons.

Dino Dunsford has been a household name on P.E.I. This venerable musician has performed on stages all over the Maritimes performing many different types of music. In the early years Dunsford could be found in the dance halls of the Island rocking the night away with the top rock’n’roll tunes of the day, then country, gospel and traditional Maritime favorites.
