SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — By Rebecca Boulter

The library will be having a free Harry Potter Escape Room for teens and adults on Sunday, Aug. 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. and again Monday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. Our spring Harry Potter event for children was so popular that we have decided to make an event just for teens and adults. Dementors have captured Fluffy and he needs your help. Use your knowledge of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to solve riddles and save Fluffy. Gather your team, ask a friendly muggle to teach you to use a telephone, and call the library at 902-436-7323 to reserve your spot. Robes, wands, and brooms are permitted, but please note that spells and enchantments will be in place to prevent cheating.

Be sure to drop by the library and check out the Sun Life Musical Instrument Lending Library. With your free library card you can borrow a variety of musical instruments including guitars, violins, banjos, mandolins, keyboards, drums, and more. You can also check out music learning books and DVDs to help you hone your new skills. In September we will be starting a monthly drop in jam session for all ages. Bring your own instrument or try one of ours.
