CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Due to an overwhelming number of requests for tickets to the Bruce Guthro Songwriters Circle P.E.I., a limited number of extra seats have been added.

The concert is set for Jan. 31, 8 p.m., at the Delta Prince Edward, Jan. 31, in Charlottetown.

Interest in these musical events has increased as the previous P.E.I. circles have either been close to capacity or sold out.

Says Guthro: “We felt the Circle would build a brand, over time, and it appears to be doing just that. I am glad the organizers were able to find a way to add some more seats after selling out because it is going to be a fun night.”

Guthro’s guests in this Circle are his daughter Jodi Guthro and music legends Matt Minglewood and Terry Kelly.

Last week, Music Nova Scotia and Casino Nova Scotia jointly announced Minglewood as the latest inductee into the Casino Nova Scotia Music Wall of Fame. This recognizes the contributions of East Coast musicians and industry movers and shakers who have had an impact on the development and promotion of Canada’s East Coast culture and music.

Less than 30 additional tickets are now available for the Jan. 31 Circle in Charlottetown. They can be purchased at the Eastlink Centre Box Office or ordered, by phone, at 902-629-6625 or eastlinkcentrepei.com
