For the first time, Phase II and Friends will take their annual Remembrance show to Summerside Trinity United Church.

The band is eager to perform some wonderful music in honour of the many men and women who have served and who continue to serve this great country.

The show, which will be held today at 7:30 p.m., is in two parts with the first part being a well-rehearsed, scripted program of music recorded by such artists as Roger Whittaker, Vera Lynn, John McDermott, Garth Brooks and Elvis Presley.

After a short intermission, the audience will be invited to join in a singalong, featuring wonderful familiar tunes like “Bill Bailey”, “Side By Side”, “Show Me the Way to Go Home” and “You Are My Sunshine”.

It's difficult to think of good things resulting from war, but some of the world's best-loved songs were written during times of great tragedy.

The band looks forward to this show as it is always a pleasure to play in a wonderful venue like Trinity United in Summerside.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or by calling the church office.
