The Bedeque Area Historical Museum, William Callbeck Centre, Central Bedeque is open on Sundays 1-4 pm until October 14, with special free admission. There is a new exhibit on the Loyalist settlement of the Bedeque Bay area. Other exhibits are on the Borden ferry service (1917-1997), Callbeck’s Store (1899-1991), and the way of life of the Mi’kmaq on the Island up to 1900. Also displayed is the Red Barn collection of Howard Clark, relating to the social history of the area.
