SUMMERSIDE – Community groups are partnering up to ensure Islanders in need have warm clothing this winter.
The East Prince Outreach office of P.E.I. Family Violence Prevention Services is collaborating with the Free Store in Summerside to collect gently used clothing and winter outerwear. They plan to create a stockpile of clothing that individuals and families will be able to access.
Those who wish to donate items can bring them to the Free Store, located at 109 Water St. on Dec. 5 between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Before Dec. 5, items can be dropped off at the East Prince Outreach office located at 263 Heather Moyse Dr., Suite 9, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at the Free Store on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
