Communities, organizations and businesses can now apply for funding for public transit, green infrastructure, culture, recreation and community development.
The Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) will provide more than $366 million in federal funding over the next decade for infrastructure projects in P.E.I.
The plan supports investments in green infrastructure, community culture and recreation, rural and northern communities and public transit.
The projects will be cost-shared with the provincial government, municipalities or other partners.
The Infrastructure Secretariat will be holding information sessions with eligible groups over the coming weeks to share information on the project funding. Information sessions will take place from March 18-29.
Apply by April 26 at 4 p.m. for this intake of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.

- Climate change mitigation and adaptation
- Enhanced public parks, recreational facilities and other spaces that make communities great places to live
