West Prince Chamber’s business awards gala Feb 22

Awards to be presented in six categories

Lieutenant Governor Antoinette Perry will be the guest speaker for the West Prince Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Business Excellence Awards Gala on Thursday, Feb. 22.
The gala will be held at the Mill Rive Resort, getting underway at 6 p.m. There will be a three-course meal served and there will also be an oyster bar, a chowder bar and a cash bar.

Proceeds from a 50/50 draw during the gala will support the West Prince Chamber’s Westisle bursaries.

Twenty-seven West Prince businesses and business people have been nominated for awards in six categories, Business of Excellence, Emerging Business Growth, Best website/Social Media Marketing, Chamber Ambassador(s), Lifetime Business Achievement and Community Impact.

Tickets to the gala are still available and can be booked in person at Rural Action Centre in Alberton by calling Tammy at (902)853-3612 or online at westprincechamber.com. Tickets are $50 plus tax for chamber members and $65 plus tax for non-members. Memberships are accepted at any time.
