SUMMERSIDE – A year and ten months after its old store burned down, Green Diamond Equipment will be reopening in Sherbrook on June 25.

The company made the announcement Thursday.

The new 32,000 facility is located at the site of its predecessor, at 15 Lockshore road. The company had been operating out of Slemon Park since the fire.

The Sherbrooke store’s general manager, Jeff Wood, said the company is grateful to their customers and community as the process of rebuilding has been ongoing.

“I want to thank all of our customers in the area for their patience during our transition,” said Wood.

“And, an extra special thank you to our staff, who have gone above and beyond to make sure that everything is just right for the opening.”

Green Diamond Equipment currently operates 14 outlets around the Maritimes and employs more than 300 people.
