WELLINGTON – Francophone and bilingual business people are invited to participate in a series of promotional luncheons that will detail new projects and various programs in the business community.
Nicknamed the “RDÉE Road Show” the luncheons will be held in three Island regions from Jan 16 to 18.
Those who participate in the sessions will hear about the services provided by the Acadian Chamber and the Wellington Rural Action Centre. The two partners will unveil their joint calendar events for entrepreneurs for the new year.
They will also talk about their biggest event of the year, the Entrepreneurs’ Gala, slated for March 17.
RDÉE, the provincial francophone economic development council, will present its two internship programs: PERCÉ, for post-secondary students, and Objectif carrier Î.-P.-É., for those who have completed their college or university studies. The group will also provide details on the various initiatives of its LIENS program (Linking Economic Immigration to our Successes), specifically on the ways employers can benefit from them.
Participants will also learn about the 2016 Dragons’ Contest; an entrepreneurial competition offering a $10,000 prize, as well as the new part-time job promoting service: “Petite Job”.
A representative from the University of Moncton will also attend the luncheons and speak about the institution’s Masters of Business Administration degree.
