Charlottetown-based Murphy Hospitality Group (MHG) is launching a new delivery service.
Charlottetown and Stratford residents will now have the option to order take-out or delivery from any of the Murphy Hospitality Group restaurants located in Charlottetown through the mobile app MHG Delivered.
Full menus will be available for takeout or delivery from The Gahan House, The Brickhouse Kitchen & Bar, Sims Corner Steakhouse, Merchantman Fresh Seafood and Oyster Bar, Pizza Delight 1911 Jail and the P.E.I. Brewing Company Taproom.
The app is powered through ChowNow, an online food ordering platform that connects customers with local restaurants. It can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or through Google Play.
Online orders can also be made through individual restaurant Facebook pages and websites.
“We’re really excited to launch this new service,” said Ben Murphy, Chief Operating Officer of MHG. “People are busier than ever with their families, careers and long to-do lists.
“The app will allow us to provide convenient dining solutions to those who want to take the planning and prep work out of meals but still have quality food options in the comfort of their home or office.”
Murphy Hospitality Group is launching the app with a special limited time offer of $20 dollars off the first order through the MHG Delivered app. Details can be found at the website: MHGPEI.COM.
MHG, owned by Kevin Murphy and family, is a multi-unit food and beverage operator with nine restaurants, two hotels, and two breweries out of Charlottetown, one restaurant in Saint John, N.B. and three restaurants in Halifax. The company employs more than 800 people between the three provinces.
