A local firm is seeking applicants for a multi-week economic empowerment work preparation program.

Island Recruiting, with its parent company, Confederation Group, is currently calling out to newcomer women on P.E.I. who are looking to enter the workforce.

Commissioned by the province federal government, Island Recruiting has been tasked with preparing newcomer women for the workforce through a multi-week program.

These sessions will take place in both Charlottetown and Summerside.

The goal of this program is to empower participants to find meaningful work through various curriculum lessons, guest speakers and job site visits all across the Island.

By the end of this program, participants will be able to confidently look for job opportunities and find meaningful work – with the end goal of raising retention rates within the province.

To apply to the program, visit surveymonkey.com/r/G5758R5.
