CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — There will be a workshop for French-speaking Islanders on how to apply for jobs with the federal civil service in March.

This free information session will take place Tuesday, March 12 from 8-9 a.m. at the Carrefour de L’Isle-Saint-Jean in Charlottetown.

Rena Gagnon from the Public Service Commission of Canada and Shawn Bernard from the Canada Revenue Agency will explain the application process for federal jobs on P.E.I. at such locations as the Summerside Tax Centre, the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies and departments. They’ll address such topics as eligibility criteria and others.

A light breakfast will be offered free of charge.
