WELLINGTON, P.E.I. — There’s lots of buzz in the air at the offices of RDÉE Prince Edward Island and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI in Wellington as the team takes care of last-minute preparations for the annual Ignition-Gala.
Only a few days remain before the finalists in the 2019 Francophone Ignition Contest and the 2019 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala combine for the “biggest entrepreneurial recognition evening of the year,” Saturday, March 16, at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside.
The evening will kick-off at 5 p.m., three finalists will present their business project proposals to a panel of judges for a chance to win $25,000.
Next, at the Gala starting at 6 p.m., the efforts of 19 entrepreneurs will be recognized and trophies will be presented to eight winners in seven award categories.
