SYDNEY, N.S. — The Cape Breton Connector Program is giving Cape Breton’s business community a chance to reconnect this week with ’80s-themed backgrounds, nostalgic games and a bit of friendly competition.

This will be the first time the program has made its signature Off the Clock—Let's Get Digital networking event available island-wide.

Hosted in partnership with NextGen Cape Breton-Unama’ki and Innovacorp, the program connects top talent to industry professionals by introducing new graduates, relocated or returned Canadians, and newcomers, to local professionals to grow their networks and find a job in their field of study in Cape Breton.

“Now more than ever, our island’s future depends on us working together. But it’s harder than ever to network,” said Robyn Lee Seale, Cape Breton Partnership Connector Program co-ordinator. “We’re looking to meet that need by creating a networking event where people can relax, have fun, reconnect and build new connections that will help them in this new normal.”

The event takes place Thursday from 3:30-6 p.m. To register, visit https://bit.ly/CB-OffTheClock-LetsGetDigital.

For anyone interested in learning more about the program, contact Seale at [email protected].
