CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce May’s Business After Hours social will have an Acadian flare as the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, the Wellington Rural Action Centre and RDÉE Prince Edward Island co-host the event. The social will take place Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Simple Feast Catering, 119 Kent St., Suite 290 (second floor), in Charlottetown.

“Whether you're new to the chamber, a long-time member, or simply interested in learning more about what the chamber does, Business After Hours is for everyone to enjoy,” said Penny Walsh-McGuire, executive director of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re pleased to be co-hosting this event with our friends from the Acadian and francophone community.”

Guests can enjoy appetizers prepared by Simple Feast Catering owner Jérémie Arsenault and chef Brian Stanton, while listening to live Acadian music performed by Julien and Annie Kitson. There will door prizes throughout the evening, including a 15-inch retro jukebox with Bluetooth capabilities. Information about the organizations will be available onsite.

Business After provides a casual environment for members of the local business community to meet, exchange ideas and build connections. These monthly socials take a more relaxed approach to networking, where attendees go to wind down after work and enjoy food and refreshments.
