Fair weather for everyone compliments of a narrow dry slot overhead. Soon, that ridge will break down, allowing a powerful fall storm to race eastward. The system is headed for Labrador; its warm then cold fronts will cross the province over the next of couple days. Saturday will be quite blustery with strong winds shifting from the south to the northwest as the day goes on. The unsettled weather will be east of us by Sunday allowing for a lovely start to the new season. Fall officially arrives at 10:54 pm Saturday evening.
