KENSINGTON – The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers’ pursuit of second place in the Island Junior Hockey League continues with back-to-back games this weekend.

The Vipers will play two interlocking games with the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League, starting with a road contest against the Kent Koyotes in Cogagne, N.B., on Saturday night. The Vipers then return home to host the Cap-Pelé Predators at Community Gardens on Sunday at 7 p.m.

The Vipers, who have gained five of a possible six points in their last three games, are in third place at 11-12-4 (won-lost-overtime losses), five points behind the second-place Sherwood-Parkdale A&S Scrap Metal Metros (15-12-1). Sherwood-Parkdale was scheduled to visit Cap-Pelé on Friday night.
The Vipers and Metros will meet Wednesday night at the Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown.
