SUMMERSIDE – Jordan Arsenault is the latest Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub student-athlete of the month at Three Oaks Senior High School (TOSH).
The 17-year-old son of Joey and Sheri Arsenault of St. Nicholas was recently presented with the award for December following an outstanding fall season on the soccer pitch for the Summerside school. He played the striker position, and led the Axemen in goals scored during the 2017 season.
“His speed and skill handling the ball made him an instant threat, with or without the ball,” said Three Oaks soccer coach Forrest Lilly. “A team captain, Jordan’s leadership was invaluable, both on and off the field.”
Other sports
A Grade 12 student, Jordan also competes in dodgeball, and will play scrum half in senior AAA boys’ rugby in the spring. He is also a member of the athletic council at Three Oaks.
Outside of school, Jordan was a slot receiver on the Summerside Cooke Insurance Clippers, who went undefeated en route to winning the Papa John’s P.E.I. Varsity Tackle Football League’s Potato Bowl in November. He also played on the P.E.I. under-18 soccer team last summer.
Following graduation from high school in June, Jordan plans continue his education studying study sciences at university.
