CRAPAUD – A three-goal second period proved to be the difference for the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros on Saturday night.
The Metros scored three unanswered goals in the middle frame to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead en route to a 5-2 road win over the Southside Lynx.
The South Shore Actiplex was the site of the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League contest.
Five different players – Jake Arsenault (1-1), Brandon Sullivan, Brad Jenkins, Marc Cummiskey and Brechan MacLean – scored for the Metros, who are 2-0-0 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Tyson Beckingham and Tyson Gillis countered for the Lynx, who take a 1-1-0 record into Sunday night’s game in Tignish against the Perry’s Construction Aces (1-1-0).
