Offensive explosion for Hurricanes


TRURO, N.S. – The Holland Hurricanes’ offence was clicking on all cylinders against the host Dal AC Rams.

T-Anna Fraser scored a hat trick to lead the Holland College women’s team to a 7-2 victory, and James Briand dented the twine three times as the men’s squad cruised to a 10-0 triumph in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) soccer action on Saturday.

Fallon Gaudet, Darby Myers, Sabrina Molnar and Kendra Craswell also scored for the Holland College women, who received shutout goaltending from Nicole McInnis.

 

Men

Iabrah Sanoh (2), Jatly Jardine (2), Charles Aondo, Sam Julien and Maebou Secka rounded out the scoring for the Holland College men.

Stephen Corkum posted the shutout.

 

Home games

Both Holland College teams close out their regular-season schedules with back-to-back home games at the Terry Fox Sports Complex against St. Thomas on Saturday at 2 and 4 p.m., and UNBSJ on Sunday at noon and 2 p.m.
