SLEMON PARK – The Summerside Saultos Gymnastics Club returned home with two team titles, and many individual awards from Biddeford, Maine.
A total of 16 athletes represented the Saultos at last weekend’s Maine Frostbite invitational gymnastics competition, which attracted clubs from across Maine and New England competing in Levels 1 to 10.
Overall, nine of the 16 Saultos made their qualifying scores for the upcoming Atlantic gymnastics championships that will be held in Summerside in April.
“I was very proud of the way all the girls performed,” said Alice Ma, head women’s coach with the Saultos. “This was our second competition of the year, and I saw big improvements from everyone.”
