SOURIS – Kyle Pinksen and Garrett Murray each scored two goals to help the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers get back on the winning track Sunday night.

The Vipers defeated the Eastern Maniacs 5-3 in Island Junior Hockey League play at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex.

Tyler Gallant netted the other goal for the Vipers, who are now 10-12-0 (won-lost-overtime losses). Campbell Gallant contributed three assists while Logan Vandervelden (2), CJ McCardle and Parker Ronahan picked up other helpers.
Hunter McIntyre had a goal and two assists to lead Maniacs (6-16-1). Cole Jenkins and Jonathan Arsenault added single goals while other assists were credited to Tyler Rose, Cole Jenkins and Alex Chapman.

The Vipers took a 2-0 advantage into the first intermission, and the score after 40 minutes was 2-1.
Rett Rook earned the goaltending win.
