Mustangs’ offence
CORNWALL –
Tyler Wood’s perfect night at the plate sparked the Mid-Isle Mustangs to an 11-1 victory over the Summerside Chevys in a P.E.I. Peewee AAA Baseball League game at the East Wiltshire diamond on Tuesday evening.
Wood finished with a 3-for-3 batting summary, including one run batted in.
Dominik Pineau earned the pitching win over Hayden Ellis, who batted 2-for-3 to lead the Chevys offensively.

Power, MacEachern swing
hot bats for Cardigan
KENSINGTON –
Mason Power and Thomas MacEachern each had three hits to lead the Cardigan Clippers to a 14-2 road victory over the Kensington Crusaders in a P.E.I. Peewee AA Baseball League game on Tuesday night.
Power went 3-for-3, with a walk, and MacEachern had a 3-for-4 resumé. Tyson McGrath (2-3, hit by pitch) also had a multiple-hit game for Cardigan.
Matthew MacDonald (3-3) and Jordan Stewart (2-3) were Kensington’s top hitters.
Demitri Hicken was the winning pitcher, and Owen Killam took the loss.
