LONDON, ONT. – The Island Storm dropped its fourth straight game to close out the National Basketball League of Canada regular season.

The host London Lightning defeated the Storm 140-136 Sunday.

The Lightning held quarter leads of 41-34, 76-61 and 111-98.

Garrett Williamson and Ryan Anderson each scored 25 points in the win while Royce White added 24.

Carl Hall had game highs of 34 points and 14 rebounds for a eight-player Storm squad playing without Franklin Session, Chris Anderson and Tyler Scott. Du’Vaughn Maxwell had 29 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists while Chris Johnson and Brad States scored 28 and 21 points, respectively.

The Storm end the year 19-21 and will finish fourth in the Atlantic Division. They will play top-ranked Halifax in the first round of the playoffs.
